Waseda University has launched a new campaign, referred to as the "With WASEDA - $100 Giving Campaign". This campaign is an effort to support current Waseda University students with the generous donations received from alumni and those who have studied abroad at Waseda University.
Due to the effects of the Coronavirus disaster, there are many students, spanning all nationalities, who are experiencing financial difficulties and are forced to restrict their daily classes, research, and extracurricular activities. In order for all of them to shine as global leaders who will help to improve society in the future, they need support that ensures no one will be left behind.
Through the "With WASEDA - $100 Giving Campaign," your donations will benefit international students and students studying abroad. Thank you for your warm support.
A WASEDA THAT SHINES ON THE GLOBAL STAGE
Most of the problems facing humanity today, such as the coronavirus pandemic and global warming, are relatively new problems with no clear solutions. It is necessary for today's universities to nurture "Intellectual resilience" that can take on the challenge of these unknown problems and devise solutions, and "Flexible sensitivity" that can understand diverse values. We believe that 20 years from now Waseda will be a shining example for the world.
This time, we have launched a new initiative called the "With WASEDA - $100 Giving Campaign" to ask alumni, students who have studied at Waseda University, and others to support Waseda students dealing with various hardships. Your warm support will be a great help to our students as they pursue their dreams and goals. We hope that you will send an encouraging gesture to those students who have high aspirations to contribute to the world. Thank you very much for your support.
